Congratulations, Cheryl Martin!
Each year, the California Assisted Living Association (CALA) recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond to elevate the experience of residents, employees, and their local communities. For those who know Cheryl Martin, it will come as no surprise that CALA recently recognized her with the Outstanding Executive Director Award.
Back at Prairie City Landing, Cynthia and the community organized a festive celebration to honor Cheryl.
If you’ve met Cheryl, you’ve been a lucky recipient of her passion and commitment to elevate everyone around her. She is an incredible leader, as she first looks to a person’s strengths and then mentors them to develop those strengths further. Her depth of experience (48 years serving older adults!) means she’s an expert at creating the conditions in which success can bloom. And her big heart and passion for older adults are evident in every interaction she has.
